About us:
We started CollegeFaith.org to help high school students keep their faith in college.

An estimated 60-70% walk away from their faith during their college years. But they don't have to. Our goal is to help students depart for college with a mission in mind… a purpose… a plan that will carry them through their college years with their beliefs and values intact. We pray they will be encouraged to use their time to make an impact! We also pray for them to be strengthened to face the challenges that lie ahead.

If you’re reading this, it is for a reason. Please help us reach high school students before they depart for college. That's our mission. We welcome those who wish to join in this endeavor.
 

The Research Study:
We asked the experts. We asked over 600 current college students to think back to their own high school-to-college transition. Specific questions included:

- What was the the biggest change from high school to college?
 

- What was the biggest thing you really thought you were prepared for... but found out you were not?
 

- What surprised you most about the academics?
 

- What surprised you most about the new social scene?

We also asked Christian college students to help us understand how their faith was impacted:

- How was your faith challenged?
 

- What advice would you give an incoming college freshman on keeping their faith?

College 101: Strategies for 1st Year Success is a student/parent self-study program formatted similarly to the College Faith program. This resource includes information and advice on issues ALL students will face in college:  Academic changes and dealing with the new social scene. It is in a CD format with 224 pages and 16 video segments. Retail $19.95.

College101's research-based curriculum is in use at over 600 high schools, colleges and universities in 40 states. It was named the 2007 National Winner: Best Program Package by the Journal of Youth Development’s academic and professional organization.
